Neurodiversity and Counseling

I believe in celebrating the wide spectrum of human minds. Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in how people think, process information, and experience the world—this includes individuals with ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and other ways of thinking that may not always fit societal norms.

I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work with neurodiverse clients. I understand firsthand how it can feel to navigate a world that isn’t always built for you, and I aim to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported.

My approach is strengths-based and individualized. Rather than trying to “fix” differences, I focus on helping you navigate life in a way that honors who you are. Together, we identify challenges and develop practical strategies that empower you to thrive in daily life.

Support may include:

  • Coping strategies for stress, anxiety, or overwhelm

  • Support with executive functioning, organization, and time management

  • Navigating social interactions, relationships, and communication differences

  • Self-advocacy skills for school, work, or daily life

  • Emotional support and validation for experiences often misunderstood by others

Everyone deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered. If you are neurodiverse, I can provide a safe, affirming space to explore your experiences, celebrate your strengths, and develop strategies to help you live more fully on your own terms.
